Also, please tell me what name you wish to be known as, and keep telling me with each submission (unless it's in an obvious place such as your email address or the media itself). If you don't, I'll guess at it and we all know how bad a guesser I am. |
06/25/06: Not a terribly large update, still, I'm sure you've been anticipating whatever shows up here on this little squeaky corner of the internet. We have 4 artists sending in wonderful new images: Blue (7), Carlos (7), Oz (2), Tombfyre (1) ...as well as 3 new stories from: Jsuelieta Dracosune, Seal, and Sparky Fox.
02/19/06: I'm sure a few of you are still stuffed silly with
too much chocolate (if such a thing is possible) but I do hope the
latest batch of art and a story will tide you over until Easter and all
those chocolate [coated] bunnies. Er, if you know any that are
available, could you send one or maybe a set of twins my way? *^^*
Back to business! Yes yes, 41 new images from Amethyst (4), Blue (7),
Konekoryu (2), Oz Kangaroo (1),
Plushielove (1), Robcat (1), Sammy Crikkit (2),
Victor (23) and a second chapter to a squeaky invasion by Scotty Rave. He also says that due
to school and such, he cannot continue the story but welcomes anyone to
pick up the torch and go on with it.
11/4/05: Got a few treats left over from Halloween you all might enjoy, something to tide you over till that wonderfullest of hollidays, Thanksgiving. Yeay! Remember, don't forget the gravy. No one new in this line-up so here goes: Blue (7), Bunglebear (1), Dorian Pheonix (1), Kulkun (1), Oz Kangaroo (6), Skyfire (1), and Tombfyre (1). 18 new images and 3 new stories. Not the most new art but I think that's a record number of authors contributing however. You can thank Brandon, Diamind Tiger Knight, and Scotty Rave. I also cleaned up the link page, loosing a number of old sites in the process. If you have a site in mind, please, send an email.
8/30/05: Fixing a few forgetful mistakes right now. No! It can't
be! Not you Morphy???
Yes, I am far from purrfect. And going from there I'm introducing two
new artists, one of which has graced the FIP with nearly a dozen
stories to this date: Lord Balloonie Cat
Inflated (1) and Gato Restrepo
(6). There are also a few new images by: Blue
(1), KulKun (1),
Red XIX (5), Robcat (7), Skyfire (5), and
Tombfyre (1). There are also three new stories by Lord Balloonie Cat
Inflated as well. Huzzah!
p.s. If you're going to MFM (Mephit FurMeet, September 2-4, 2005) I'll
see you there... and give you a macro pixie stix!
8/19/05: Been a few months since the last update so here is what has been handed in-- no, you're not graded on it, but there might be a 'pop' quiz. New artists: Halfshell (9), Plushielove (4), Red XIX (1). Existing artists: Amethyst (1), Blue (8), Circus (6), Oz (3), Robcat (1), Stretch (3), Tombfyre (1), Victor (9). That's a grade- er, total of 46. Not too shabby when you also consider a story from Rubberbando too. I'd also like to note that I do tend to procrastinate. A lot. When I do, send an email. Let me know it's been months since the last update. And while I would love to use a system like VCL or Deviant where the artist can upload their own art at will. I feel the system we have in place right now is better in that it's secure. Only two people know how to get at the FTP folder. Me, Cerine, and the sysadmin. Well, ok, three. Three people know how to get at the FTP folder.
4/18/05: Today's National Animal Cracker Day. Bet you didn't know that, eh? Ok, ok, no need to be so unimpressed, heh. Not a huge update but ever little bit helps. I fixed two missing images in Bighorse's folder and added 29 new images. We have two new artists: Blackandwhite (6) and Sorethumb (9), plus contributions from Blue (5), Jacobus (1), and Tombfyre (8).
2/3/05: Almost Valentines Day furs and squeakies, did you get your special one chocolate, balloons, blowup toys, and good things like that? To celebrate, there's a new bunch of pictures and stories for you all. Yeay! No one new this time, the the usual suspects: BigHorse 2, Blue 6, Killy the Fox 12, Kulkun 4, Skyfire 3, Stretch 2, and Tombfyre 12. 41 new images plus Lord Balloony-cat Inflated has five added stories here, and a link to Ginta's site, Draconic Beat, too. (Gah, I really need to purge the 404 links one of these days)
11/22/04: Almost 2 months to the day since the last update, not too shabby. Not a terribly large update either but I think you'll all enjoy the art and (woohoo!) stories from our regulars: Amethyst (1), Blue (11), Kulkun (9), Oz (1), Robcat (1), Skyfire (8), Starfig873 (1), Stretch (7), and Tombfyre (5). 44 news images And four new stories by Rubberbando.
9/23/04: Another four months between updates, yep, right on
schedual. Er, ok, no need to threaten with the hat pins...

To placate the masses I've inflated the archives with a bunch of new
art (before someone stuffs me in a dark hole) from two new
artists! Jacobus (10) and Kulkun (7). And a huge set from the usual suspects:
Amethyst (22),
Blue (30), Mechlion (1), Robcat (1),
Skyfire (7), Starfig873 (2), Stretch (1), and
Tombfyre (10). 91 new images, yeay! So you won't threaten
the panther anymore, right? ...right? ^^;
p.s. Yes, there's some stories to process still. OpenOffice does not
html-ify docs and text files the same way as WordPro did and I've not
found a bat large enough to beat OO into submission yet.

5/29/04: Kaijima's content removed as requested by Kaijima. Snap Silverlight's content removed as requested by Snap. Alex Raccoon's content removed as requested by Alex. Fixed links in earlier news post. Fixed links in artist list. Fixed mislabled webpages. And added a new artist, Oz Kangaroo (1). This will be my last work on the site before I head to A-kon 15. I might see some of you there so don't be shy and say hello to the human behind the airhead panther working the registration desk.
5/5/04: Almost time for Anthrocon so purrhaps you'd like an update before you, or someone you know, goes. Let's see, who's new around here? Ah hah, there's Agent Smith (9) Fox Williams (1) NC Halex (1), and Rubbert (1). The usual sort of troublemakers (and I mean that in the most loving way, heh) also have lots to show too. Amethyst (21) Aubrin (1) Blue (37) Ginta (2) Skyfire (4) Snap (2) Starfig873 (5) Tombfyre (2), and Victor (2). Looks like 88 images this time. We even have a new story by Vargr Dragonwolf to read. It's a big one but we like super-sizing it, right?
1/27/04: First update of the year and it's a huge one thanks to Blue. We have a few new artists this round so lets all take a gander at their art and welcome them to the 'loonie bin: Benni (2), Dekashi (1), Fox (1), and Snap (2). I lost the submission by OzKangaroo (ack!) so if you're reading this Oz, please send it in again, sorry. Art from the established denzins include: Amethyst (9), Blue (42), Byakkowolf (2), Circus (2), Cyrin (8), Ginta (3), Killachu (3), Konekoryu (1), Mechlion (2), Robert Hill (1), Skyfire (9), Starfig872 (9), Stretch (3), and Tombfyre (4). That's 103 images to browse. The new logo for this update is by Stretch, thanks!
And for those keeping track, the FIP has inflated to 665 directories with 4677 files using over 210,000,000 bytes.
This page was created by Cerine, herself with a balloon form that has seen some use (and has a few noted pics in the archives). :) If you have suggestions, complaints, problems about this page's load time (mind you, this is *not* something Cerine can see), etc., mail Morphy as he is the one in charge of running things.
Things to know about Cerine: I am a college student. Oftentimes I am very busy or preoccupied, even on FurryMuck. Feel free to say hi to me there, of course; just please note that you know me from these pages. I am not an artist. I am a writer; however, see before about time problems. I may write something inflation-related soon, if I can put my mind to it. Don't count on anything. I run this page because a) I have bandwidth, b) I happen to like the subject, c) people seem to like me for it, and d) as far as I know, no one's complained to admin-types about these pages. If any of these change, the future of this page will be in jeopardy. I don't think they'll change.
